This bill further erodes the purposes of bona fide conservation use covenant taxation by allowing a county to establish an economic development incentive program that allows property under covenant to be used for industrial or commercial development when certified by an economic development panel that such use is in the public interest interest. If so certified , then all other conflicting provisions of conservation use treatment are superseded. |
